Workshop Description

“Why Military Hiring Programs Fail and How to Ensure Yours Does Not”

There are many great reasons to include Military Veterans in your recruitment strategy, but charity should never be one of them. Military experienced talent brings a wide array of tangible and intangible skills to the workplace and smart organizations know what to look for. Learn from the experts on how to not only find, but more importantly retain the best Veterans and Spouses that will take your company to the next level.

In this presentation, we will do a deep dive into the following topics and frequently asked questions:

  • What does the Veteran population look like?
  • Why should your company hire them?
  • What work categories and skills cross over from the military to civilian industry?
  • What are Veterans looking for in a company?
  • How to retain this high caliber talent pool.
